Though Thomas Calabro is most recognized as the evil doctor Michael Mancini on the hit series, "Melrose Place," this series role was bracketed by two others. In 1991, he played Joey "Camaro" in the short-lived, but critically acclaimed drama, "Dreamstreet" on NBC. In 2000, it was the title role in "Hard Knox", a syndicated series best described as "Moonlighting" meets "Rush Hour." Calabro's more recent television credits include starring roles in the movies, "Till Lies Do Us Part," "The Perfect Husband," "Sleep, Baby, Sleep," "Best Actress" and "Single Santa Seeks Mrs. Claus." His recent television guest spots include "Without A Trace," "Cold Case" and "Nip/Tuck. In the feature world, he's just finished shooting Locker 1" this year and previously completed three additional films: Detention, Safehouse and Total Eclipse. His performance in the horror film, Chill earned him best actor nomination at the Shocker International Film Festival. On the LA theatre scene, Calabro recently starred in the hit comedy It's Just Sex at the Zephry Theater. Previous to that, there was another comedy, Gravity Shoes at the Hudson Theater which also starred Richard Kind. Calabro also directed Thespians and Troglodytes at that same stage. Mel's Hole is an urban legend about an alleged geographic anomaly that a man named Mel Waters claimed to have discovered on his land near Ellensburg, Washington. This man claimed that he lived in or near Manastash Ridge, Washington, about nine miles due west of Ellensburg, though later investigation revealed that no such person is listed as a resident. According to him, the hole has paranormal properties, including an infinite depth and the ability to restore dead animals to life.[1][2] The first references to the hole were made in a series of interviews with Waters, made by Art Bell on the American radio show Coast to Coast AM. Waters initially appeared on Coast to Coast AM on February 21, 1997. He since appeared on February 24, 1997, April 2000 and January 29, 2002. His most recent appearance on the show was on December 20, 2002.

Jeffrey Lyons television and film critic. Lyons was the film critic for WPIX from 1970 to 1991, and a co-host of the movie review show Sneak Previews from 1982 to its demise in 1996. On American AM radio, he hosted a show, "The Lyons Den", on WCBS (AM) from 1975 to 1993. The title "The Lyons Den" is taken from the New York Post column that his father wrote for 40 years. He joined WNBC in October 1996 as the station's film and theatre critic. He reports during Live at Five and NewsChannel 4 newscasts. He currently co-hosts the syndicated movie review TV show Lyons & Bailes Reel Talk. He hosts a syndicated radio program called "Movies and More". In addition to his work as a critic, he has appeared as himself in The French Connection, Deathtrap, and the TV series Wiseguy. Lyons is the author of four books, including Jeffrey Lyons' 101 Great Movies for Kids. He and his brother Douglas have written several baseball trivia books, Out of Left Field, Short Hops and Foul Tips and Curveballs and Screwballs. A fourth in the series has been completed. Jeffrey and Douglas Lyons have lectured at the Smithsonian Institution and at the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum in Cooperstown, NY. Lyons has been a guest announcer, both as play-by-play and analyst, for the Boston Red Sox radio network and the Red Sox games in Spanish as well. Lyons has received two honorary degrees, from Hofstra University in 2000 and St. Mary's College in 2002. He also holds a Juris Doctor degree from Syracuse Law School. Lyons' son is the television personality and movie critic Ben Lyons, who also uses the name "The Lyons Den" in his own work as a critic.

Nancy O'Dell is a television host and entertainment journalist. O'Dell currently serves as co-host of Access Hollywood, a 30-minute entertainment news program produced and syndicated by NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution. She has been with the show since its 1996 inception, and became co-host in 1999. O'Dell serves as a contributor for NBC's Today Show and Dateline NBC. In addition, O'Dell co-hosted the Miss USA and Miss Universe competitions in 2004 and 2005, respectively. She also co-hosted the New York City St. Patrick's Day Parade on WNBC from 2004-2006. O'Dell has appeared in several movies as either herself or a generic entertainment reporter, and has also taken on other acting roles, including minor roles in the television series Charmed (Season 1 finale and season 5 premiere) and Scream 3 as herself (2000). O'Dell was also the host and consulting producer of the USA Network talent competition Nashville Star over its first two seasons, but made the choice to leave the show upon its move from Saturday to Tuesday because of conflicts with her Access Hollywood schedule. On January 13, 2008, after the 65th Annual Golden Globe Awards were canceled as a result of the 2007–08 Writers Guild of America strike, O'Dell co-hosted NBC's 65th Annual Golden Globe Awards Winners Special with Access Hollywood co-anchor Billy Bush. In 2009 Nancy was also the host of NBC's pre-show for the 66th Annual Golden Globes with both Tiki Barber and Brooke Burke.
